RoboCup ⚽️
My passion for robotics started when I joined the robotics club back in high school, Hwa Chong Institution (p.s. alma mater of TikTok CEO, Shou Zi Chew!). I had always enjoyed playing with legos prior to robotics but it was through lego mindstorms that blew my mind. Seeing the things you build come to life, being able to tell it what to do was amazing.
It was also in high school where I joined RoboCup, arguably my first “real” experience of robotics. I learnt to saw my own aluminium metal chassis, solder and crimp wires and step into the world of programming Arduinos. These experiences have made me who I am today and I just wanna commemorate those awesome memories here.

RoboCup 2016
After many years of hard work, we finally managed to get a podium finish. While we were not champions, coming in 3rd place meant a lot to us. Check out this sweet compilation of the robots playing soccer!
